Despite Rebellion claiming there would be shotgun spread Killcams and SMG multiple bullet Killcams (which I've yet to see). I'm also annoyed they cut content for DLC as the weapon choice is disappointing. Even if you run miles away they stay in pursuit. If they do see you or you hit a man without it killing him, then the whole map goes red, every man gets a telepathic message of your position and they charge straight to you. It's very frustrating when this happens as, like I stated earlier, a single shot is enough to give you position away so after just one shot you have to run away immediately and it can take a long, long time for enemy aggro to disappear. I clearly saw the puff of blood, but all that happens is their cap flies off and they sprint away. I kid you not, even the officers can survive a head shot from a rifle. Too often will enemies survive shots to vital organs. Men seem to see me just as fast and have just as much HP no matter what I play on it seems. I don't notice the difference between some difficulty options either except the obvious radar, bullet drop and wind mechanics. You spend more time with a pistol in this game than anything else, and even then, some silenced pistols still can be heard at 29 meters so it really sucks the fun from the game, for me, when you spend more time making sure no one will hear your shots. Sadly, this means that many soldiers will instantly triangulate your position in so much as a single shot.
The triangulation mechanic of the past games are gone in favour of a "gunshot volume" mechanic instead. I'm no stranger to sniper games, having played all of the Sniper Elite series and even the zombie army series too but I have to say I'm so disappointed in this.
